Lathes & Milling Machines

With our over 80 combined lathes & milling machines we can take components up to 6000 mm length and up to Ø 1300 mm. This gives the group a potent flexibility in terms of manufacturing various types of components either individually or as part of a bigger project.

Milling Machines

With our milling capacity we can take components up to dimensions of 6200 mm X 3000 mm X 1200 mm. We can carry this out in combination of the other disciplines or as part of a bigger project.

Lathes Machines

Our lathes can take components up to Ø 2200 mm, and with the in total 50 lathes, we have a stark capacity and capability to perform these services. Normally it will be in combination with our other services or part of a larger project.

Deep Hole Drilling & Honing

Alloyance is the obvious choice when it comes to drilling round steel bar. In Alloyance we use advanced equipment and have the ability to work to the highest precision.

We can drill holes with a drilling range of 7 to 500 mm over lengths of up to 10 Meters.

Honing is included in the options, and here we are talking about: Diameters from Ø 19-450mm and lengths up to 10 Meters.

Punching

Punching is often the most cost efficient way to create holes in sheets.

The punch often passes through the work into a die. A scrap slug from the hole is deposited into the die in the process. Depending on the material being punched this slug may be recycled and reused or discarded

A short overview of the ranges of material capability:

Maximum work area: 3000×1500 mm
Maximum mild steel sheet thickness: 8 mm
Maximum punching speed: 900 punches/minute

Laser Cutting

Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser by computer, at the material to be cut.

Within the Alloyance cluster, we operate within the following dimensions.

Max sheet size: 1500 mm X 3000 mm
Max sheet weight: 900 kg
Max Thickness Mild Steel: 25 mm
Max Thickness Stainless Steel: 25 mm
Max Thickness Aluminium: 15 mm

Plasma Cutting

In this process, an inert gas is blown at high speed out of a nozzle, at the same time an electrical arc is formed through that gas from the nozzle to the surface being cut, turning some of that gas to plasma.

The plasma is sufficiently hot to melt the metal being cut and moves sufficiently fast to blow molten metal away from the cut.

Thickness 60 mm Mild Steel

Thickness 25 mm Stainless Steel

Thickness 15 mm Aluminium

Recut Production - Threads

Alloyance has a wide range of machines with automatic pretreatment equipment adapted for repairs and new production of all types of drill string components. To meet the increasing demand, we have invested in new machinery and handling racks for drill pipes for over 75 MNOK over the last years.

Our threading machine shop consists of eight CNC-lathes primarily used for drill pipes, casing and tubing, including accessories such as X-overs and lifting subs.

We cover oil phosphatisation and cold rolling of threads according to customer requirements. We also stock the most common dimensions of raw materials for drill string components.

We hold several premium threading licences including VAM and Grant Prideco, and offer complete packages and supplies to tubing service including storage, logistics and inspection.
